EHPAD (Retirement Home) « Le roi Gradlon » – Quimper

The OPAC of Cornouaille wanted to built a new EHPAD optimising each of those aspects :

Residents comfort, the well-being at work of its teams and the aesthetics of the establishment. One of the important points for the establishment concerned the installation of “a ceiling transfer rail over the entire bedroom and bathroom”. An idea that had never been possible until now in France in a retirement home with bathrooms pods. However, the architect of the project, convinced that the bathroom pod solution could not be abandoned, asked BAUDET to think about a solution that would make these two aspects coincide. BAUDET has taken up the challenge by developing: the easy moove system, which allows the integration of a ceiling lift in the entire bathroom. A first in France and in this type of establishment !

The OPAC of Cornouaille says about the easy moove system : “This solution goes in the direction of improving patient care, whether in health facilities or in institutions for the elderly. It allows a person with reduced mobility to move safely to any point in the bathroom or in the room, by mobilizing only one caregiver, while keeping an aestheticism closer to a hotel room than a cold hospital room.”
