CONNEXIONS Student Residence in Échirolles

Located in the heart of the Échirolles station district, the CONNEXIONS project is part of a major urban regeneration programme transforming a former industrial brownfield site into a mixed-use, sustainable and well-connected neighbourhood.

Developed by Linkcity and built by Bouygues Bâtiment Sud-Est, this eco-district combines residential buildings, offices, educational facilities, hotels, retail and services within an area benefiting from excellent public transport connections.

The student residence is fully integrated into this new urban environment, contributing to the diversity of uses and the vitality of the neighbourhood. Designed to meet the needs of students, it forms part of a comprehensive approach that combines user comfort, environmental performance and architectural coherence across the entire development.

As part of this project, BAUDET manufactured and delivered 289 prefabricated bathroom pods for the student residence.

Prefabrication is particularly well suited to this type of development, where a high level of room repetition is combined with demanding quality standards and tight construction schedules.
